Tying the correct knot with a drop line and placing it at the right position on the bridle.
Making up different hitches that are specified on the test.
Marking out points on the floor. The instructor will pick points marked out on the floor for a student to Calculate that bridle's Length, Tension, and the Forces applied on the beam structure by the bridle.
The student will then have to hang the bridle from the beam structure and see how close the bridle comes to the point
marking on the floor. There will be a chain and 50 pounds of weight on the bridle apex. They will have to adjust the bridle length when it is nessesary.

All logged in and out time for each topic for each student also remains at the Rigstar Training and Testing Center as documentation of the time spent on each topic trained in. We continue on to the next topic when we know that a student understands the topic that we are currently on and can competently perform each task within a reasonable amount of time so we do not hold up the class time for the other students. If a student is having a hard time after giving ample amount of time, the instructor can not hold up the class so the course does not fall behind in time. The student can seek help from another student after class or schedule extra time with the instructor after class if possible. When the course training and testing is completed by each student, they are then awarded a level number of 1,2 or 3 of their Certification of Competency on a photo ID Card along with each module number that they passed ,a photo of them, date of birth, card ID # on the front side and on the back side is shown their logged in total time, the dates that they attended our course, a bar code assigned to the card and the instructor's signature certifying all training and documentation of each student being held at the Rigstar Training and Testing Center. With the issuing of the Rigstar Certification of Competency photo ID card, is proof that the person who's picture is displayed on our card has indeed attended and performed the rigorous Concert / Theatrical Entertainment rigging course set forth at our facility. Any one can call us about a student that has attended our course to verify their attendance to the course and the documentation on file. If you make a copy of the back side of the card and email it to us, we can scan the bar code and let you know the details of that student attending our rigging course. You can view a sample photo ID card at the following link: LINK TO THE PAGE This link will also give you the meaning of each number Classification that you may see on a card.
The Class letter will give an indication of the level of Competency of an individual at the time of attending our course. It will be the sole responsibility of each student to maintain the level of competency that they earned by the end of the Rigstar Training and Testing course.
